Cedar Valley: an old-fashioned family farm located north of Ottawa, IL on the banks of Indian Creek. Jody
and Beth Osmund returned to this family farm almost nine years ago to embark on sustainable farming and raise their
sons: Richard, Duncan and Jack.
Sustainable: a way of farming and living that emphasizes responsible stewardship of our resources. We raise our
and animals in ways that nurture and respect nature’s systems.
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture): consumers and farmers coming together in a mutually
beneficial relationship. When you become a member of our sustainable farm community, you provide your family with the highest
quality food available. This farmer/consumer partnership brings the food chain back to a local, sustainable model. You know
where your food comes from and the farmers that bring it to you.
