August 14, 2011 1:30 - 3:30 Come tour the farm; see baby chicks, pastured poultry, laying hens, pigs, cows, sheep and
the livestock guardian dogs.
Please dress appropriately for a walking tour, including sturdy, comfortable shoes. Members of Cedar Valley and their families are free. For non-members

July 2011 Farm Tour Tuesday July 19, 2011 1:00 - 4:00 Join us for a
farm tour focused on kids. Come tour the farm; see baby chicks, pastured chickens, laying hens, cows,lambs and the two
livestock guardian dogs. After we
tour the farm we'll spend some time in the creek. Get set to get wet! Please dress appropriately for a walking tour,
including sturdy, comfortable shoes. Bring shoes that can get wet for the creek walk, it's very rocky. Members of Cedar Valley and their families are free. For non-members the cost

Saturday, October 2 from 2:00 - 4:00 we'll be hosting our final farm event for the year.
Come join us for
a hayrack ride around the farm and a bonfire with s'mores!
You'll see where all the great meat & eggs
come from, meet some of the animals, and enjoy the beauty of autumn on the farm. Members
& families are free. Non-members $20 per family.
Field (Museum) Day at the Farm Wednesday,
September 22, 2010 10:30 - 2:30 Cedar Valley Sustainable's Field Day for homeschoolers
is September 22, $10 per kid ages 2-teen.
We'll have a creek walk in
the morning, lunch by the creek, then the Field Museum Soil Adventure Mobile at 1:00. (There'll be a separate program on learning science through play for the preschoolers & parents.)

Cook Out At the Creek
